Jessica and I met on a whim. I had another agent who was fine, but left me feeling like we weren't a priority. That agent showed me two homes (we had scheduled FIVE but three "fell through" when we showed up at their front door). After that, she hopped in her car and said she'd keep looking. I was left in the middle of a neighborhood with OPEN HOUSES that she didn't even suggest that we look at. My friend encouraged me to walk right up to the open house around the corner and give it a chance. The moment I stepped into the home, there was an energy that felt different... that energy was Jessica Skinfield. It was clean, there were treats and water set out for guests, and Jessica was dressed in a way that said, "This is my world and I'm here to do the work." I took a quick look around, called my wife on FaceTime so she could see it, and then immediately walked back over to Jessica. She asked me what I thought about the place, and I blurted out, "I want this home." She smiled and sat down at the dining room table, pointed to the chair adjacent to her, and said, "Well, tell me about yourself!" We immediately clicked. She was patient, kind, and had that 'spark' in her eyes that said she meant business. After that talk, I "broke up" with my former agent and never looked back. Jessica fought tooth and nail to make this home a reality for my wife and me. Anything that could have gone wrong with the loan/paperwork/approvals... well, it went wrong. She guided me every step of the way. If a new and challenging hoop was presented, she found a way to get us to jump through it successfully. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. She never gave up on us, even when she could have just gone with someone with better credit and more income. That spoke volumes to us. This was our first home purchase, and I can't believe we landed such an amazing agent. We finally closed and got the keys. That moment was life-changing. Jessica is not only the right agent... she is simply a good person.
