As we prepared to sell our small horse farm we interviewed five real estate agents. One of the reasons we selected Jerry was his experience selling such properties. However, his general experience in the real estate market became even more important. The prospective buyer of our property needed to sell his home in order to buy ours. Late in the process we learned the buyer of his home, who also needed to sell his property to purchase our buyer's home, requested a delay in the closing date because his buyer was having trouble getting their financing approved. Our buyer's agent was passive about investigating this snag, but Jerry knew that it could be a minor issue or a major problem that would disrupt the entire domino chain of the three sales and that it was important to investigate as soon as possible and determine if our property should be placed back on the market. Jerry quickly investigated and monitored the situation until the financing issue was resolved and all closings could proceed.
