Jerry and I meet around April 2019 to discuss the best approach in selling our home in 2020. He reviewed our home and showed us where we should make improvements over the next year. After completing the improvements plus adding a few of our own my wife and I had Jerry once again come by so he can see the changes we have made and the best strategy to sell our home. Jerry was shocked at the improvement's we had completed over the course of one year, he's one word was "WOW". I bought our home in 1998 brand new and after 22 years it was time to sell. Selling our dream home that we had invested so much time, sweat, tears and of course money was hopefully going to pay off for my wife and I. Jerry's strategy was flawless and after 4 days we had received 12 offers for our home. But that was not the end, Jerry put these offers together in a spreadsheet came to our home, reviewed each offer as well as read the letters that had been written by several perspective buyers. Jerry had laid the offers out in the order of best to worst that he felt would have the least hiccups and get us through the escrow process. With Jerry's strategy all but one offer was above the asking price, we followed Jerry's advice and picked the buyer he thought would give us the best chance of getting through escrow the first time, and boy was he right, the buyers sailed right through escrow and we are now closed and got $26k above asking.
