I have been in the Real Estate profession for 15 years and worked with Agents and Lenders on properties all over Colorado and for that matter- most of the country. This property was different…it was my families. Recently we lost both of my in laws. Jeremy knew some of the time hurdles going into the eventual sale above and beyond his normal: evaluating the property, identifying key areas (both positive and “opportunistic” ones), surrounding homes- on the market & recent sales etc. Also, the market was about to see a pretty dramatic change coming out of Covid. Jeremy’s professionalism prior to the listing was truly second to none. Countless conversations on improvements to the house, trips to visit contractors, evaluating cost vs. benefit on upgrades, referrals from his trusted, proven and closely held network…staging, interior fixtures (general handyman), flooring, paint, HVAC, moving and large item removal companies. (I’m sure I have forgotten something.) Finally, the family was ready to list the property (many months after our initial meeting). The market conditions changed dramatically (higher interest rates, days on market spiked…huge market insecurity). Jeremy and the family agreed on a listing price with the knowledge that this could be 60 days or more…and we were under contract in just over 48 hours and closed 27 days later.
