I knew Jenny through mutual friends and when it came time for me to buy a house, they asked if I'd be willing to give her a shot. And I did and thankful for it! Unless you are licensed and know how to read and do all the paperwork needed to buy a home, you need an agent. You, as a buyer, don't pay for one, the seller pays their commission, so there's no loss to you. Many think the agent's job is to find you a house. That's part of it. But as contracts are getting written tighter and tighter in this Seller's market, you will be glad you have Jenny on your side. Extremely detailed, on the ball and one step ahead of you in knowing what you will ask before you will ask it. She got to know my style and sent me pre-listings and went ahead and scheduled them for me so I could be one of the first people looking at the home. She stayed on top of our paperwork but also ensured anything needed from the Seller's side was also being handled in a timely manner as well so nothing would fall through. Remember how I mentioned it is a Seller's market? So not only are you looking to pay List Price + some, you will need a way to separate yourself from everyone else. And I was so blessed that I had Jenny on my side, not only for the legal part of it but for an intangible: she is extremely trustworthy and realistic and the Seller's Agent sensed that and was willing to not only read my offer but eventually did choose it. Having Jenny make that connection to the Seller's agent got me one step closer to closing on my house. Without that effort to make that connection, I don't know if I'd be in my new home now. So the too long/didn't read version: Talk to Jenny, it won't cost you a penny. And even if you are like me and search for houses all day anyways, you'll still need her experience to land the home you are looking for. I'd recommend her to anyone!
