We discussed a proposed price and then proceeded to prepare the home for sale. Since it had been rented for 14 years, we needed to do a bit of sprucing up to get it ready for sale. Jennifer had tradesmen that she was familiar with, so we were able to get the work done at reasonable prices and within a fairly short period of time. Once the work was completed, we decided to list it for a bit higher than originally planned and we ended up receiving an offer that was over asking price.
