My wife and I had started our home search back in February 2021. At that time we knew we were in for challenges in a market for homes all time high prices. Our competition was very high with cash buyers or large down payments for the available homes. Difficult for times for first time homebuyers with an approved VA loan. The first few months Jennifer showed homes from the criteria we wanted and needed for a family of Two adults and two teens. Jennifer showed us at least 3 to 4 houses per week and we made several bids that were not selected. Several more Months past with Jennifer working day and night to help us find our perfect home, however we continued to run against the same high competition. At times we wanted to down grade our search and felt we may need to just accept the climate wasn’t right to get into a home. During the appointment we met the owner who it was retired Military and and we explain to him our situation with a VA loan. The owner was more than happy to except a VA loan and we made an offer that morning. That afternoon the selling realtor called us to Notify us our bid was excepted.
