House hunting days were always so much fun and painless - she sets up the day and schedule and makes sure she's organized. The process was rather simple for us first time homebuyers and we attribute that to her going above and beyond, making sure we understood everything. She also knows about other issues than most realtors don't even get involved in - for us it was connections with people in the VA loan world. Jennifer was extremely thorough and walked us through the process from before we started looking until well after we signed (and there are many signatures) on the proverbial dotted line. When we realized that we needed to do a little ground work (e.g., getting documents in order, saving for the deposit AND the closing costs, etc.) before jumping into looking, she was still there when we were ready. She was extremely patient and listened to what we were looking for. Even though she lives and works in the San Fernando Valley, Jennifer helped us find our beautiful historic home in Riverside. She made the drive multiple times to show us our top picks and went through the home inspection with us. Jennifer followed up with not only the seller's realtor, but all of the people involved (e.g., inspectors, vendors, pest control, etc.). After the whole process, she surprised us with some "move in/welcome home" gifts. But one thing that impressed us above all else was that she tithed a portion of her commission and gave it to a charity of our choice and in our name. I am very happy that we chose to work with Jennifer Jenson.
