I purchased a home from out of the area. Jen made herself available when I needed her for viewings, appraisals and then eventually to collect keys. Through the process she provided information about the area and continues to provide information about insurance, electricians and public services. She did all of this with a positive, professional and caring disposition. I truly felt she had my best interest and the interest of my family in mind through this process. She helped to make my home buying experience seamless.

My husband and I were referred to Jen by the Coldwell Banker agent that we had been working wth out of Anacortes. The house we bought in Port Townsend was on our short list to view and was listed by the Coldwell Banker agent in Port Ludlow, which made the subsequent negotiations and transactions somewhat simpler. Jen just happened to have a vacation scheduled over 3000 miles away, so we were immediately also introduced to Carol Wise , another experienced C. B. broker ( and Port Townsend native)! to work with us while she was away. I quickly learned, however, that despite being on vacation Jen stayed on top, both through Carol and electronic communications, with every step in the process and we counted on her advice by phone, text, and email. Bottom line: both Jen and Carol were extremely proactive in representing us to achieve a positive outcome in the sale, including excellent local recommendations for a mortgage lender, the escrow and title companies, and property inspection service providers. They also very kindly met us at our door upon arrival on the day of escrow close (we drove from our former home in CA) and even presented us with complimentary substantial oval area gift certificates at their personal expense. Not only that, Jen ordered pizza and drinks and brought them back to us for our first night’s meal. Both Jen and Carol have also made it clear that, despite the completion of the formal client relationship, that they are available to share their experience and knowledge of the greater Port Townsend and Jefferson County community. There were so many realtors to choose from when we started shopping for homes in Port Townsend, but we chose Jen because of all the rave reviews she had received from previous clients, and because of her many years of experience in the real estate business. We also wanted someone who was a full-timer, unlike so many of the other agents out there. It turned out to be one of the best choices we have made in all our lives. Jen was so patient with us, taking us from house to house through the worst snow and ice Port Townsend has experienced in many years. Most importantly, she KNOWS the local market - she took the time to really understand what we wanted, and then she gave us the inside scoop on which of those properties were in the best locations and were the best deals. She even wisely counseled us to stay away from one that just had too much risk associated with it. Since we were 2000 miles away, we needed someone like Jen who would personally take care of all the followup details in our absence. She put in an enormous amount of time in the negotiations for our home, walking through with the home inspector and appraiser, getting bids from contractors for repair work, strategizing when we were having issues with our lender, and promptly answering every random question that popped into our heads. She even sent periodic videos of the beautiful view from our home! We plan to live in Port Townsend for the rest of our lives, and we are happy to have found a new long-term friend in Jen. There might be other “good" realtors out there, but Jen is in the “fabulous” category.

Jen helped us to not only sell our house in 2.5 weeks, but she advised us for weeks while we were getting it ready on what finishes to choose, what should be constructed to help it sell faster, and more importantly, what things not to worry about. She was both morally supportive and practical during a stressful time when we were having to rebuild our house after hurricane Harvey.

Jen provided us great service selling our home in Rockport Texas. Post hurricane Harvey the property and the sale had some complications and Jen was most effective in helping work through the issues.
