Jay was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Jacksonville Episcopal School (Episcopal High School) in 1989 and the University of Florida in 1994. After graduation he returned to Jacksonville because of his love for the community, its' river and beaches. As a REALTOR since 2003, Jay knows the ins and outs of Northeast Florida real estate. The area, the neighborhoods, the contracts, timelines and deadlines of a real estate transaction are intimately familiar to him and he will help you navigate a real estate transaction with ease. His expertise extends well beyond general real estate with 10 years of experience in custom new home construction, Jay helped hundreds of clients design, plan and build custom homes from Ponte Vedra Beach up to Atlantic Beach and from Jacksonville down to St. Johns County and over to Orange Park. Working for custom builders has helped him gain the knowledge it takes to thoughtfully design a customer's dream home around the way they live today and how they will live in it for years to come. He can use that experience to help you in negotiating the best deal on a new custom or production home with any builder. He is also intimately familiar with all of the area schools, medical facilities, golf courses, tennis facilities, shopping and restaurants.
