It was an absolute pleasure working with Jay as he helped us find our new home in Hawai'i; the entire process could not have been smoother. From the very beginning, Jay was super easy to talk to and helped us work out exactly what type of home and -- crucially -- which specific area on O'ahu would best suit our budget and needs. We were regularly updated with a selection of properties on the market to whittle down what type of home we were after. Jay's property scoring system (whereby you rank a given property's features and amenities) really helped clarify which aspects and features of a home were high priority for us, and which were negotiable or non-essential. My wife and I also Zoomed with Jay a handful of times to discuss our options and he even joined us to oversee/advise a virtual walkthrough for one property (Covid!). Jay's knowledge of all things O'ahu (locations; housing build-types; climate; infrastructure; projected utility bills; restaurants; schools; travel times) is second-to-none and certainly made our decision-making process infinitely easier. Our Zoom meetings were always super informative and -- with Jay's friendly and upbeat personality -- were always something to look forward to. In a nutshell, Jay is the definition of a consummate professional: striking the perfect balance between cordiality and clinical efficiency. He went the extra mile to make sure we found a home to suit our specific needs and really added a personal touch that, sadly, is so often missing nowadays. Mahalo Jay!
