My fiancé and I worked with Jason to purchase our first home together last summer. We were referred to him by a friend who had known Jason for years, and I couldn’t be happier with how things worked out. Not knowing any realtors in this area, I was very guarded about my interactions with the people I spoke to before him. I hate being sold to. There was nothing like that with Jason. We both felt comfortable immediately, it was clear he was on our team, and his low pressure approach turned the buying experience from something stressful into something exciting. Jason walked us through several locations, some we were serious about, others were more of a whim. Jason was helpful as a sounding board, creative in his solutions, and observant with details we missed. As someone with a background in home repair, I was blown away with the breadth and depth of some of the more technical aspects he was familiar with. Our purchase required a fair amount of negotiating, and some rather unusual accommodations. Jason navigated that process perfectly. His expertise even helped us with the financing side of the purchase, helping to find a local lender that we were comfortable with and working directly with them for many of the finer details, which took a lot off our plate. Even closing was a breeze with the legwork he had done beforehand. Jason was perhaps the most prolific responder I’ve ever worked with professionally. I can’t think of a single call that went ever even made it to voicemail, even though I know he was quite busy with several of his other clients at the time. Jason left a funeral to show us one location. This guy is dedicated, he’s driven, and his heart is in the right place. I know if the day ever comes where we sell this house and look for another, Jason will be on both sides of that process

We worked remotely with Jason and it was a smooth experience. When we found a property we were interested in, he would take a walkthrough video for us and provide further insights into the property. He was incredibly knowledgeable in the various neighborhoods within Grand Rapids.

If I had to pick a favorite thing about having Jason Johnson as my Realtor, it would be his amazing marketing skills! There were fantastic photos and of our house as well as a video walkthrough tour - I received offers from buyers out of state because of how well they could see my house online. Jason took care of everything for me and was very responsive through the entire process, and even helped me with ideas on staging. My property sold incredibly quickly, and I will definitely be using him again in the future!
