Buying a house can be intimidating. I was in the process of looking for my first home last year. Janet told me right out of the gate she'd rather talk me out of a house than into one. I was skeptical, as I would be of anyone in a commission-based salary, telling me they had my best interest at the forefront; but as we looked it became more apparent that Janet doesn't use her skillset unless it benefits her client first! We have used Janet to sell three homes and buy two homes (so far), and we couldn't have asked for a better agent to help us on these journeys! I was buying a home for the first time by myself. Janet took time to find out what I really wanted my house to have. She had a busy schedule, but always made time to fit me in to go look at 3 or 4 homes at a time. There were several beautiful homes but each fell short from what I really wanted. Instead of trying to push me into something so she could get a sale, she kept telling me that we would find "The One." And we did. We found this perfect house, in the price range that I wanted to stay in, and once the inspection was done, it was confirmed that this is the home to buy. Our family really enjoyed working with Janet on the sale of our father's condo. Right from the start she made us feel like we were her only client, though we know she had many others.
