We have bought and sold a number of homes and Janet is the best realtor we have ever worked with - by far. Janet was our Buyers Agent on a home we bought this summer in the Catalina foothills. We live out of state and were looking on line for a home in the Tucson area. Upon finding a home we called Janet who was the listing agent. Though we did not buy that home - a couple weeks later we were excited to find one we really wanted - with pool and city/mountain views in the Catalina foothills. Janet was so helpful on our first try that we asked if she could be our agent in buying this home. From the beginning to the end of the process we found Janet to be very professional, attentive, gracious and extremely capable. It was a pleasure dealing with her. She was so responsive it at times seemed like she was answering questions even before we asked them. We worked with her to set up the offer and escalation parameters and then she began negotiation on our behalf. There were a dozen buyers converging on the house in the first 2 days on the market - with multiple offers coming in and we were concerned that it would be immediately sold and we would miss out. Janet worked fast and our offer was accepted. That's when the real work began. The sale involved a relocation company which doubled the paperwork and coordination. Janet's negotiation skills really helped - and she was always gracious with the Sellers - which made us feel more comfortable and resulted in a cooperative transaction. And to make matters even more complex the whole transaction was done over phone/text/email/video since we were out of state - and the first time we entered the home was upon closing. A home purchase transaction well done! We would heartily recommend Janet Markeson to anyone and would definitely call her on our next home purchase.

Janet was our saving grace for our PCS to Tucson. We were having a difficult time finding a home from out of state and were getting down to the wire. She is very knowledgeable about the area and had many useful materials for us to research so we could find the school district we desired for our daughters and the community we wanted for our family as a whole. She worked around the clock to provide us with home listings and Face Time showings until we found “the one”. She helped us cultivate an appealing offer on the home that had an existing one on the table. After going under contract, she went above and beyond helping me and showing me around town during a one day visit to view the home in person. She assisted in negotiating repairs post inspection and I am so grateful for that. She not only called in additional experts for a few things that I was particularly anxious about, but there were some things we were initially apprehensive to ask for that were gladly accepted by the owner and look absolutely phenomenal after being fixed. Janet checked on repairs prior to our arrival, sent photos and videos. She even checked in with us to make sure everything went smoothly with a repair that couldn’t be scheduled until after our move-in date. There were a few bumps in the road with timing due to COVID, but Janet preemptively came up with alternative plans for us to be able to close on the scheduled date no matter where the situation took us which was a huge stress relief. This is the third home we have purchased and we have never had such an exceptional experience with a realtor!
