Our house sold for the list price in a 'challenging' market. Here are a few points. 1) Jan did a great job of seeing the value in our home and gave seasoned advice when it came to setting a list price. E,g, on paper our house may not have gathered much interest but once Jan walked through the house she saw first-hand the many additions we made and the many 'value-add' amenities. 2) Given the market conditions Jan helped us understand the market drivers and helped us set realistic expectations throughout the process. We listed just as the interest rates were rising, inventory was growing and buyers were more selective. Jan provided a calm voice during this time as we needed to be patient for the right buyer. 3) Jan's vast experience (and network of associates) helped us get the word out for our property. From 1 perspective, we were in great shape to sell this house. It was ready to show from day 1 and it really sparkled. But all that would have been for nothing if we had not used a great agent to broker the deal. Jan helped us buy this house and Jan helped us sell it years later. I'm thankful we got to work with Jan twice!
