Well, where do I begin. Jan was originally recommended to me by my brother, who is also a realtor but in another city. This is the second time that Jan has helped me to sell my home, with the first time being about 5 years ago. Due to a death in the family and needs changing we decided against selling at that time. And now most recently, after a life changing event, I again enlisted Jan to assist me with preparing to sell, and eventually selling the house. The home was on the market for a while, and we had 2 price decreases in order to eventually get a first offer, which was accepted. Then, after time commitments weren't meant with the buyers escrow, we cancelled, and took the back-up offer. This was an offer that we were told by many realtors, would be very difficult to pull off, and if it did go through, would be a miracle. However, after conferring with Jan and feeling we could get it done, we charged ahead. To simply say that Jan was instrumental in seeing the transaction through, from beginning to end, would be a disservice to Jan. This was a deal that only happened after Jan contacted the lender to assist with securing two separate properties, as this was a property exchange, divorce sale, and everything else rolled into our transaction. Jan's professionalism and expertise was a major factor in keeping this transaction from falling apart at various and multiple times throughout the entire escrow process. And of course, the sale did eventually go through, at a price most thought we wouldn't get, and much to the surprise of a few realtors, who couldn't believe the transaction would go the distance. Jan has been more than just a realtor to me and my family. She is a good friend who has seen me and my family through some tough times. I wholeheartedly recommend Jan to anyone who is looking to purchase or sell a home in the Santa Ynez Valley. My experience has been nothing short of outstanding.
