Sight unseen home buyers

The intent of this review is not to discredit or negatively impact Jamie’s reputation, but rather to provide constructive feedback on areas where I believe there is room for improvement. Overall, Jamie is very knowledgeable about the Northshore area, highly responsive, and made herself readily available throughout our home-buying process. Since my wife had just delivered our son and I was stationed in San Diego for work, we were purchasing a home sight unseen, so we relied heavily on Jamie to be our eyes and ears. She was always willing to visit homes, FaceTime us, and send videos, which we greatly appreciated. That said, there were a few instances that made us question whether everything was being handled with the level of professionalism and attention we expected during such a major purchase. The most significant concern involved a rodent issue in the attic that we later learned had been known about but was not disclosed to us prior to closing. We ultimately had to hire a pest company to resolve the issue ourselves. There were also a few details that seemed overlooked during the process, such as lack of awareness that the home had an active termite bond. We truly love the home we purchased and appreciate Jamie’s efforts and availability throughout the process. This feedback is simply intended to highlight areas for growth and improvement for future clients, particularly those purchasing remotely and relying heavily on their agent’s guidance and transparency.
