James Enright

First of all, I grew up in Trenton and have known Jim “Woody” Enright my entire life. He and I were teammates on hockey teams from peewee though high school and have remained friends since childhood. Jim was an exceptional hockey player who played varsity at Ferris State University. After graduation he started his real estate career with Bob Brown and Associates, a Downriver commercial real estate firm, and is currently the owner/broker of J C Enright Realty LLC, providing a wide range of real estate services to the Downriver market. Jim has served the area his entire career and has experienced the ups and downs of many market cycles. My wife and I moved to Utah a few years ago and recently decided to sell the house we owned in Trenton. The first thing we did was call Jim. He explained what was happening in the marketplace and the process of selling the house. We appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. After the call, he went to work. He visited the property and called back with an asking price and an assessment of what needed to be done prior to putting it on the market. We had researched comparable sales in the area and agreed that Jim’s asking price was solid. We were concerned about cleaning, maintenance, repairs and city inspections after a long-term tenant vacated the property (leaving possessions throughout the house and shed), as we lived so far away. Jim told us it was going to be a lot it work and he’d take care of everything. He told us not to worry. He arranged it all: removing everything (filling a big dumpster box) left by the tenant, a deep cleaning of the house, repairs to interior walls and backyard shed, painting, appliance removal, lawn and landscape maintenance, heating and cooling system maintenance, he scheduled all the required city inspections. In short, he handled everything, start to closing, perfectly. He knew who to call and what to do. It was a pleasure to work with Jim. We would recommend him to anyone.
