About James

Jim is a lifelong native of Nashville, NC. He's a former small business owner, who founded Aqua-Clear Pools & Spas, Inc., in 1990, and ran the business until 2012, when he closed the operations. He continued working in the pool & spa industry offering in-ground swimming pool construction and services through June of 2015, as NC Pool Pro, LLC. He then transitioned into a sales position with the Lowe's corporation as the local store's Product Specialist Interiors (PSI), where he designed and sold Kitchen & Bathroom renovation projects, from September of 2015 until April of 2018. Upon realizing that he was not cut-out to be inside a 'big box' store all day, he took a position with ST Wooten Corporation, as a heavy equipment operator, with the assurance that he'd be placed on their fast-track program for a foreman position. When he was laid off in December of 2020 due to Covid-19 and wasn't contacted until April to return to work, he decided to study for and obtain his NC real estate license. He has been licensed since October 14, 2021. Personally, he has six wonderful children from his first and only marriage. He is a devoted believer and follower of Christ Jesus and enjoys serving in men's ministry functions, as well as churchwide community outreach ministries.
