I had interviewed nearly 15 different people. All of them told me my home would sell easily and quoted me a sales price range of $485k-$505k. Most of comps in the area were well below the value that I knew was in my home. So, I kept looking until I met Jameel. He was eager to take me on and confident he could get my house sold for the price I wanted. He went right to work. I had other challenges too that would have scared many realtors away. My home was pending a special assessment, had tenants still living in the home (and they weren’t very cooperative during the sales process), and a home title that was in dispute due to a divorce and a court clerical error in recording. Jameel didn’t flinch or back down. He documented the history of the special assessment and reassured potential buyers, he negotiated with my tenants and got them to deliver the property back to me early and without incident, and got the courts to correct the title to ensure it was free and clear! Not only did he move these mountains, he got the home in sale condition and listed within 30 days. Crazy! We had so much interest in the home and many offers. We went under contract after just 11 days on the market. Unfortunately, financing fell through and we had to re-list the home. However, Jameel once again stepped up to the plate and proactively increased the sales price of the home by using the new appraisal and new comps in the area as justification. He also found more buyers and we were back under contract within 10 days!! Not only did we go under contract, we successfully sold the home. And before I forget, this was all while I was in another state (we had never met face to face), and for $525k which was my target with no major concessions or excessive realtors fees. I want to start off by saying how much we appreciate Jameel for assisting us in our forever home experience. He is very knowledgeable on the process and so professional within the experience itself.
