We met Jake at the First Homebuyer class at Mt. Hood Community College and thought it was so helpful that we would work with him when we chose to buy. We were pretty upfront of our timeline which was more long term than immediate, and he was not pushy but very encouraging. We began looking at houses a few months later. The first house we put on an offer on got outbid, however the next house was a perfect fit for us anyway. What seemed like a "simple" as-is sale turned into much more, and Jake worked hard to negotiate an excellent sale price, worked with the buyers to have them cover all repair costs to meet FHA approval, and was very open and provided clear communication throughout. I felt we could call or text him without worry of not receiving a response. Jake and Alexsis are very nice people, and added many special touches to the home buying process. Would definitely recommend!!

I worked with Jake and his partner Alexsis to purchase my first home. We went ahead and scheduled an initial kick off meeting where they made me feel extremely comfortable and confident in what I was looking for. Given that I was a first time homebuyer, I had a ton of questions and reservations. They were honest and realistic with me about what I could afford given my budget, and that made me trust them immediately, they were completely relatable! Having Jake represent me was what I was looking for - someone that was an expert in the first time home buying field, could accommodate my busy schedule, understood my needs and timeline, and communicated with me regularly and at my discretion. Jake would contact me immediately if there was ever any paperwork that needed to be signed so that he could walk me through it prior to signing so that I felt comfortable with it. When looking at houses, Jake was knowledgable and honest in pointing out concern areas, whether the price of the house was worth the price tag, and if it was a realistic option for me. If there were ever a time I needed anything or had a question, I had both Jake and/or Alexsis representing and available for me. Jake was able to give me the peace of mind that I needed in order to move forward on the house that I bought and made the process as painless and straightforward as possible, I highly recommend both Jake and Alexsis!
