I have always been told to never buy(judge) a book by its cover. Jake's friendly face and warm smile on the Compass listing page caused me to stop and text him on New Years Eve morning to see if he would show us a few houses. My family and I were in search of a home in the 12 south neighborhood. Jake's market knowledge and process to understand our unique needs made the search for a Nashville based second home efficient and fun. We met Jake at an Open House in September when we were just exploring the possibility of buying a condo and scheduled a “get to know you” meeting.In the conversation, we mentioned we liked The Coronado, but there was nothing currently listed.We looked at a few properties in the area, but Jake knew we belonged in The Coronado.A few days later, he called to let us know he had found an expired listing and asked if we wanted to schedule a showing.As soon as we walked in the door, we knew that this was the right community for us. The closing was earlier this week.From the first meeting with Jake, he impressed us with his desire to find out about us and find the property that suited our lifestyle.In my professional life, I’ve interacted with at least 1000 realtors, and Jake Kennedy is a standout.

Jake was phenomenal to work with. We met him at an open house and he offered a lot of info without us even asking. We were just casually looking at the time and Jake didn't pester us at all. He did reach out, but when we told him our parameters, he was very respectful and didn't pepper us with stuff we didn't want. Jake was great at sending us properties and showing us the ones we liked. We threw Jake a curve when we decided to move to a different part of the state. Instead of balking at that, he decided to take the challenge of learning a new city and helped us navigate through listings there. We ended up with our forever home in a city several hours away. Jake made several trips with us and on his own to familiarize himself with the area. Jake made it to our out of town closing, too. Something our last local agent "couldn't find the time" to do. Along the entire way, Jake was knowledgeable and friendly! Bottom line is that Jake Kennedy is a great realtor and even better person!!! So glad that God placed Jake in our path when he did!! I highly recommend Jake to anybody!!
