It's misleading to say that I worked with Jacquie Owens in 2021 alone; I've known Jacquie (personally, and professionally, as a peer and colleague) since at least 2007. Personable, funny, smart, efficient, and - make no mistake - very serious about her work, I had approached Jacquie to represent me on the sale of a raw land parcel because our brokerage would not permit self-representation. Located in a now-booming area where Jacquie and her husband, Nick, had recently re-located, the lot had a good location and a sensational view but a steep, rocky terrain that would make building a challenge. Jacquie took on the challenge of representing it with typical, earnest, professionalism and steered the listing through many convoluted, frustrating, and time-consuming approaches, until finally a serious offer - with Agent representation - came through. But Jacquie didn't stop there; when title and escrow services were lagging, Jacquie took responsibility (and timely action) to prod them forward, ultimately to a successful closing.
