I've heard too many horror stories about the home buying process, so understandably as a first time home buyer I was extremely weary of the entire home buying process-- from finding an agent that you can trust, to getting pre-qualified, to playing the back-and-forth with the seller/seller's agent. But Jack had my back the entire time. I met Jack through a referral, and off the bat I knew that we had found our agent. He always put on a million dollar smile, was very responsive, respectful, and not only willing to answer questions at all times of the day but also super proactive. He drove down to show homes at all times of the week-- many times at long distances-- without blinking an eye. He had homes lined up for us, laying out the pros and cons of each property, made recommendations, and never pressured us to "just put in offers" or settle. My wife and I are very particular but it took us less than a month to find the home that we really wanted, so we had Jack put in an offer. The seller agent declined multiple offers at first but.... Jack's negotiating skills are amazing! At times the sellers agent would act like the client would not negotiate at all and you would think that you would definitely lose the house, but Jack's got skills--he got the seller to lower their price at least twice before acceptance of my final offer, in addition to the seller credit that I was given at escrow, and I didn't have to lift a finger! Jack was just as much on his game at the end when we signed the escrow papers, as he was from day one. His insight and attention to detail (I even had him read over my contracts, just in case!) made my wife and I feel at ease.
