Buying a first home in the Boston area was very challenging because our budget was constrained and we were buying from across the country. One great house with the features we wanted and a price we could afford came up, but then a nightmare of difficulties came up with the selling agent. They were unresponsive and irresponsible. They continually demanded fast process from us and a fast closing, and yet their incompetence meant the house inspection was delayed for weeks and weeks and closing got delayed for more than a month. Thankfully, I didn't have to deal with this nightmare by myself. Isobel handled everything with as much patience and decorum as I can imagine possible.
