True partner in the home buying experience

It's all about the details. Ian was the selling agent for a home we purchased in 2022. When it was time to sell that same home in 2025, there was no doubt we would use Ian as our agent. Experience, knowledge, professionalism, and attention to details - all those dates, signatures, deadlines, all the details that will make the home buying experience go smoothly. Ian's wealth of expertise in real estate was always 'on tap' for us. He truly partnered with us to make our experience flawless. And we then benefitted from all of the other experienced business professionals and contractors Ian has cultivated relationships with over the years, to ensure his level of excellence will be upheld throughout the entire process. While the usual home buying/selling experience is stressful, we felt secure knowing someone we knew, trusted and respected was there for us during the entire process.

Ian Hand is thé best!

From the time Ian came to our door to introduce himself, it has been a most pleasant experience. He has always been available to meet with us to answer questions, guide us through the many documents explaining their meaning, etc. his assistance in helping us decide a price to ask for the house was spot on resulting in a quick sale. The communication was outstanding and his help in arranging for workers as needed made it easy for us. When you call or message him, you can expect an immediate response.. Ian is honest, fair and a joy to work with. Allen & I would certainly recommend him as a broker to sell your house. Thanks again Ian.

Top Notch Realtor

Working with Ian was a true pleasure. He knows the business. He knows what he's doing. Most importantly, he's a consummate professional. Having gone through the process of selling several homes, it's been my experience that, while most agents mean well and want to provide a good service, at the end of the day, they are far too willing to cut corners. They arrive late to showings, don't follow up with prospects, don't bring the full amount of enthusiasm needed to attract that one buyer. (Remember, you only need one!) That's not the case with Ian. At all times, my wife and I felt we had an active partner in the transaction. And, even though we were faced with a difficult seller's market, Ian stuck with it and ultimately found us a buyer. If you want the best, look no further. You'll be in good "hands" with Ian!

Ian was an invaluable asset in selling our home. He is extremely knowledgeable of the market, especially in Signal Hill. Ian was always promptly available to address our home sales needs and questions. He did a particularly excellent job hosting our “Open Houses.” He was consistently friendly and professional with all visitors. Ian was also able to walk us through our home’s “closing” process; thus keeping us feeling relaxed and comfortable. Ian was simply a joy to do business with - so important when selling your home. Our grade is an A++++++!

You're good "Hands"

Not only does Ian have tons of experience in the field, he's a good dude. I would see him around the neighborhood picking up trash and keeping our Hilltop Park beautiful. Ian has a lot of intangibles that make him the right man for the job. He has a great attitude and charm that makes you feel at ease. He is also cool under pressure. When issues arouse with the sale of my condo he kept cool and framed the issues in the best light. He always sees the big picture which I found reassuring. He pays attention to details. We had a humming bird feeder that brought birds and life to our balcony and I told him I wanted to keep it there. Our kids loved looking at the humming birds and I wanted them to always be there. Anyway, Ian went and bought an even nicer feeder which he kept full throughout the sale of the condo. The feeder was beautiful and caught the attention of the buyer when she first saw the place. Ian has awesome contacts and he's well respected. He had a gentleman service my AC unit. When the work was done I called the gentleman up to pay him, I was out of state so I told him the check would take up to a week 8 days to arrive. He told me, don't worry I've known Ian for a long time, I'll get it when I get it. These are the things that absolutely convinced me that Ian was the best decision I made when I sold my house. At the end of the day I'm very grateful for having worked with Ian. My home is sold but I still want to call him up to chat with him. I know he feels the same way about me. He became someone I look up to.

Very professional and patient realtor

Through the process of selling my property, Ian has been the most patient, professional and knowledgeable realtor imaginable. The real estate had some very challenging issues and Ian was able to successfully guide the sale of the property seamlessly. I highly recommend Ian for anyone who needs a great relator.

This was a somewhat older, and unique property coming with it's share of challenges.

Ian is a seasoned professional with an unsurpassed knowledge of the market. Always up to date regarding the ever changing dynamics of the industry which is essential in navigating his clients through the process. Having worked in this industry myself when it came time to list my property I confidently turned to Ian because of his sterling reputation. Ian has an impressive track record in being a top producer. What is most valuable is having someone of Ian's caliber representing you. His pleasant demeaner facilitates the smoothest possible process while navigating through the many challenges that often arise. Ian unites all parties involved while serving his clients greater needs, and objectives. It is rare to find someone possessing these qualities in this very challenging, and demanding industry. Southern California, and Ian's chosen city of Signal Hill are very fortunate to have access to his services.

Persistent and Patient

My wife and I had the great experience with Ian as our agent. As first time homebuyers, Ian calmly guided us through the crazy housing market. He is a consummate professional communicated with us routinely and frequently through the housing search, was incredibly quick in pulling our offers together (there were a few), and was always the first and best resource when we had questions. He was patient with us and is persistent with the search. Always friendly and easy to talk to, he made the process enjoyable and exciting. At the end, we are so pleased to be settling into our new home thanks to Ian. We would highly recommend Ian to be your real estate agent.

Repeat Performance

In 2019 we sold our home in Signal Hill after leasing it for 14 years. Ian was recommended to us by a good friend and he was absolutely amazing! We had not been in the area for all those years and didn’t know contractors who could help with getting it ready for market. Ian took care of ALL of it. So when my brother and mom passed away in 2020, we needed to sell their house in Pasadena and without hesitation we called Ian. Geographically Pasadena was out of the Long Beach area, but Ian did a complete work up of the property and put that deal together as easily as the Signal Hill property the year before. Both properties took less than a month to bring to market and then a month to close. And we hit our sales price. It doesn’t get better than that! Buying and selling real estate in California has become so complicated, but we never worried about anything because we knew that Ian had it covered. The whole experience was phenomenal. Not only did we meet the buyers, but toasted champagne at the closing. We feel so fortunate to have had such a positive relationship with everyone involved.
