When I decided to list my home for sale, I consulting 4 Realtors. Each provided a market valuation based on the comps in my area. For the most part, all of the comps were the same and 3 of the Realtors suggested an asking price $10,000 below the comps value. Holly's market valuation was right in line with the other 3 Realtors. However, Holly dug deeper into the area's current market and suggested we raise the selling price by $10,000. WHAT?? She explained homes in my area homes were selling faster than the market valuations could adjust. Guess what? Sold in 2 days and $5,000 over Holly's recommended selling point.
