We interviewed two local realtors to sell my brother's house and liked her energy and strategy. However, we initially had her list it about 6% higher than the high end of her suggested range, based on input from the other realtor. After several weeks of little interest for viewings, we took her advice and lowered the price to the high end of her range, and a few weeks later, lowered it another 6% to the mid-point of her original range-which is what it sold at. She was very accommodating to us as out-of-state sellers, helping to find local tradespeople to assist with repairs. She was a pleasure to do business with and we are glad we chose her as our agent.
