Helen was always trying to keep me informed so I was able to make the right choices. She did everything to make the process as smooth as possible. Helen went above what she needed to do to be sure I got the best price and it closed without problems. I was a real estate agent many years ago in another state, so I understand how much more complicated and involved it is now than ever before. Helen was instrumental to my recent purchase of a home. The seller wanted a 45 day escrow. However, my loan officer could only lock in mortgage rates for 30 days. It would cost me about 2000 to extend my rate to 45 days. Helen was able to negotiate an earlier closing time, saving me 2000. She also was able to initially lower the asking price by 15k. Again, when the inspection came back, she was able to get 10k in repairs from the seller and used it to lower my purchase price by 10k. She was additionally able to get them to credit 6k for termite repair toward my closing cost. All in all, she saved me over 30k. She also helped me find contractors to do repairs after the house was in my possession. And she even negotiated with the home warranty company on my behalf. Overall, I would highly recommend Helen.

On my first day of house-hunting in 2012, I met Helen by chance at an open house. I was impressed with how she listened and cared about my needs and goals even though she represented the seller. I saved her business card and the very next day I asked her to help me find a home. She worked tirelessly and found us a home in Costa Mesa. She was a good researcher and smart negotiator. We were well-represented by her. We closed escrow in early 2013. We were very happy with the outcome. Now in 2021, 8 years later, we used her again (there’s no one better) to buy a home in Huntington Beach. She represented us well, helped smooth out the bumps, and worked tirelessly to close the purchase. She again provided me with excellent guidance and advice. I talked with Helen at all times of the day and night to voice my concerns and ask questions. She was always gracious and responsive. Though she was working with other clients she made me feel that I was always her priority. Helen treated me more like a family member than a client.
