Heidi Robbins of Buck and Associates is an indispensable asset to have on your side if you are selling or buying a home in Northern Virginia. She helped us through a never ending new-build saga back in 2022 as interest rates were climbing, and most recently she helped us with VA Loan assumptions as buyers AND sellers (at the same time). The VA loan assumption process is arduous to say the least, but it’s worth it if you have VA loan eligibility and a whole lot of patience. There are so many nuances that come along with VA loan assumptions and Heidi (a spouse of a retired Veteran, so she knows what the transient lifestyle is like) helped us every step of the way with both the sale and purchase- both of which were VA loan assumptions. The two processes are very different (despite being the same program) and we couldn’t have done it without Heidi’s help. She intervened on our behalf more times than we can count and we will forever be grateful for her help with selling our townhome to a fellow veteran and helping us assume an incredible interest rate (as an assumptive VA loan) on the home that is now our forever home.
