I recently decided it was time to sell a rental property that I had held for close to 15 years that included a long term tenant. I needed a realtor that not only understood the IRS 1031 Exchange Rules but could help guide me on working with the existing tenants during the process. Heather was referred to me by an out of state real estate agent that I know and have trusted for a long time. When I asked her if she knew of anyone in the Scottsdale Area that she could recommend, she said “Yes. My friend Heather Kay. Smart as a whip and tough.” That turned out to be such a true statement. Heather went above and beyond keeping everything moving forward and was so patient with all questions and concerns that either I had or the existing tenants. She worked extremely hard to get the best price, minimize any bumps along the timeline, and in the end everyone left the sale happy.
