If you're looking for a sales-driven agent, Heather is your go-to. However, if you prefer an agent with astute advice, transparency, and a focus on your interests, I'd advise against Heather Crowley for your home sale or purchase. Our initial positive impressions of Heather took a turn about a week before and after purchasing our new home, revealing an unexpected side. Regrettably, crucial aspects of the home were not disclosed by Heather that would have significantly influenced the offer we submitted. Not only that, but post-purchase, she made casual remarks about certain areas of the home that required attention, in contradiction to her earlier assurance that they were completed by the builders. Her assertion that houses “should have projects” upon purchase left us questioning the accuracy of the information initially provided. Move-in day revealed additional unexpected challenges, as the previous homeowner left behind considerable trash, including large amounts of lumber, buckets filled with concrete, and large wooden shelves amongst other things. Heather neglected to mention this prior to our move-in, and when we raised the issue, she minimized its importance. Not to mention, when we voiced concerns about the sellers requesting to move out post-purchase, Heather dismissed our reservations, insisting they were “good people” she trusted, perceived it as a non-issue, and disregarded the potential liabilities associated with such a situation which added to our overall frustration with the experience. To worsen matters, Heather didn't welcome us during our move-in, and the commitment to provide a front door key remains unfulfilled. Surprisingly, she disclosed our garage code without consent, adding to our frustration. As long-standing clients of Berkshire Hathaway, actively engaged in home purchases and sales, we must reassess our association with the company. We’d like to caution potential clients about working with Heather based on our less-than-ideal experience.
