My 250 year old home was in need of several cosmetic upgrades, but roof, driveway, heating system and energy had all been addressed. When I bought an old house in my dream location, I renovated that, moved,then focused on my old home. I deep cleaned & repainted walls & ceilings. I interviewed multiple realtor candidates; Tammy & David came with a personal reference. I am SO glad I chose Haschig! All other realtors had advised me to sell as is for a very low price, despite its access to multiple amenities & good school system. When Tammy saw all the work I put into showing that the house had good bones + a clean slate, she suggested I market it at a much higher asking. She did extensive homework & showed me comps/studies. I followed her advice. The professional photographs she had taken were stunning, & truly illustrated how bright,quaint & quirky the house is, showcasing house & land so beautifully. The open house was well-attended & produced an offer over asking. Unfortunately, buyer's financing fell through. Despite this all occurring just before Christmas holidays, Tammy rescheduled an open house and heavily marketed the home by reaching out to other agents who had clients looking for our location. The house went back on market on a Monday, had 11 showings by Wednesday morning, & an offer for full asking price (w/o inspection!) by Wednesday evening. I could have chosen to wait for an OH and hope for a bidding war, but I honestly felt the asking price was fair & I wanted a quick sale. Tammy assured me the market would bear the price she suggested. David reviewed it & assured that the house would very likely appraise accordingly. Everything was exactly as they said. They (& Heather in the office) walked me through EVERY detail. They also popped in repeatedly to check the heat on nights I didn't stay, & Tammy even shoveled the walk the day the house closed. During the whole experience, the Haschig team was always communicative & supportive. 12/10 would recommend.
