Harry knows the Downriver market potentially better than any other realtor in Michigan. My wife and I had been in sporadic communication with Harry about selling our home in Lincoln Park for almost 20 years. When we finally decided to sell in June/July, he was very clear about the selling process. He maintains meticulous notes and is extremely detail-oriented. Harry is very knowledgeable and experienced (almost 30 years I believe). Harry and his staff were always professional in his communication in person, over the phone and via email. Harry and his staff exhibit a culture of excellence. Harry provides very timely and very regular updates. He always does what he says he is going to do. His sales staff is very supportive. Harry answered any questions we had throughout the process. Harry responds very quickly to emails or phone calls. Harry used data to create an initial selling price and was able to support the home appraising for this amount with data as well. Our home received an offer within 10 days of initial listing. The offer was within 6% of our asking price and we were able to negotiate to within 3%. This first offer was not able to come to fruition due to the buyer unable to obtain the loan. Harry worked with us and more importantly the buyer's agent to try all avenues to get the loan into approval. He went above and beyond what I would have expected an agent to do. This was very encouraging. We had to re-list our home (with Harry) due to the first offer falling through. We received a new offer within 10 days of re-listing and closed on the home 14 days later. One possible opportunity to improve is using text messages for simple communications versus email (this is my personal preference). I would recommend Harry to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Downriver area.
