He took time to answer many of our questions the same day we initially reached out to him and always responds to questions and concerns very promptly. Hal never seems to be 'off the clock'. 2) He gets the job done. We put our house on the market on Thursday, had an open house Sat/Sun and had over a dozen offers presented to us the following day. We ended up accepting an offer that was $50,000 above asking price and he negotiated that we could stay for free for an additional 2 months so that our kids could finish their school year. 3) He truly listens. Our situation was a bit unique and Hal always took the time to listen and find out what our exact needs were before providing recommendations. He patiently answered hundreds of questions throughout the process and became a very trusted advisor. He also trusted us and provided contractual flexibility for us even if it wasn't in his own best interest. 4) He goes above and beyond the real estate transaction. We just sold our house but have a post occupancy agreement with that buyer that will allow us to stay for an additional few months.
