Gwen was always available and was an excellent communicator. She always jumped into help when I needed it and she knew the local market better than other realtors I interviewed. Plus she worked harder than any realtor I’ve ever known. I loved working with Gwen and getting to know her.
Gwen worked with us for almost a year while we searched for a home for our family of 8 near downtown. We had very specific criteria and she took all of our needs into account when sending us properties to view. Gwen was always very responsive and extremely meticulous in sending us all information regarding each property- with statistics on neighborhood, schools, safety, etc. When we finally landed on a house (in a market with very low inventory), she was able to get us the best deal possible. The selling agent was very difficult to deal with, but Gwen was a complete professional and an extraordinary negotiator. Major renovations were agreed to be done prior to closing in a short period of time, and Gwen was on top of it. She made sure all work was done by a licensed professional and all permits and inspections completed as well as all warranties transferred and receipts sent to us. We even encountered a few hiccups on the day of closing and she patiently worked with the seller/agent to make sure everything was in order so we would feel 100% comfortable at the closing. As a matter of fact, the seller had left a few larger items behind in the backyard, and she continued to work with them even after closing to make sure everything was removed. We have bought and sold over a dozen homes and have never worked with a better agent. If you are looking for a consummate professional that really listens to your needs and goes the extra mile for you, then Gwen is the perfect person to help you with your home. Gwen was an absolute professional throughout this entire process. We have already recommended her to family and friends. Although our experience in finding and building a new home was anything but smooth, it had nothing to do with Gwen. In fact the issues we encountered with the builder and then with the mortgage company were areas that Gwen added continued guidance, problem solving and pressure on them from “our” side continually advising us in our best interest. Overall we found Gwen to be highly responsive and active in communication. We came in from out of town and with conversations prior, we were able to look at areas and homes Gwen had already pre arranged. As we were out of town, Gwen constantly checked on our new build as it was being done for us. Right up until close she was offering us advice and guidance as once again we were coming in from out of state. This is our third home but the first one in Florida. We highly recommend Gwen and as I’ve already said, we have already recommended her to close friends and other family.
