Greg Allen advised and guided me in the sale of my home of 22 years in Poway, CA. The home sold in less than 48 hours; my memory wants to say it was approximately 36 hours. Greg is an expert in real estate sales, and his work shows it. That home has a lot of family and friend memories, and while I never strove to have a model show house, each of the improvements I did over the years was to make family and friends more welcome and comfortable. When so much love is put into a home, it can be hard to let it go, and that investment of emotion can make a person (at least it did to me) want more control over who is next to live in it. Greg gave me small bits of insight into the family minded folk who might be living there, and perhaps it sounds silly, but it relieved me of stress. Further, he understands the market, and knew when I was thinking of asking for too much (that not letting go, and false perception of invested emotions) and was aware of exactly what would be a reasonable price; rather like Goldilocks in the home of the 3 bears. One offer might be too high. One might be too low. And one would be just right. It's been a few months since the sale, and that's how I still feel. It was just right. Just right for me, and just right for the purchasers. There's one word prominent in my mind as I currently reflect and that word is "trust". I trusted him with my home, and to understand my interests and wishes. He deserved that trust.
