We listed our home in Livermore in early March. Our 1st open house was the weekend of March 14 & 15. We had a great turnout of more than 50 people on a rainy weekend. On March 16, the governor shut down the state and we received no offers on the house. As you might imagine, we were dismayed and disheartened. We took our house off the market because no one could look at it anyway. Gordon continued to stay in touch with us on how the market was doing. On May 4, after some restrictions were lifted, we showed it and received 2 offers. We accepted one of the offers only to have the buyers back out after about 2 weeks. We closed escrow in 25 days. I do not believe that another real estate agent would have gone to that same amount of effort.
