A true rockstar
Gloria handled an impossible situation with absolute grace and professionalism. I hired her to sell my condo because her no-nonsense approach to selling really appealed to me. Once the ink was dry on the contract, she assessed the condo and gave me a list of things that I needed to do to sell the place. When I couldn't find the right blinds in my area, she picked some up at Home Depot 50 miles away. When I needed affordable carpet and someone to patch a hole in the ceiling, she sent me contact information for contractors that did excellent work. It was clear that she wasn't there to just toss the listing on the MLS and hope it would sell. We spoke on the phone a couple of times a week just to touch base and make sure that things were progressing well, and she was available to help any time I needed it.
The condo sold in 3 days. The deal fell through, though, because of a lawsuit against the COA that hit the books just before we were to close. Instead of walking away, Gloria found a short term renter who wanted to stay just a month past the hearing for the suit against the COA. She helped manage the deal with the renter, and she advised me when I had questions. She didn't always have the answer, but she always knew someone that did.
A few days before the renter moved out, Gloria toured the condo with me over zoom, and we made a list of things that needed to be done to successfully sell the condo again. It went back on the market shortly after that. Gloria had a great handle on the changing market conditions. She brought me options for changing pricing and how the condo was presented. Her advice seemed reasonable to me, so I followed it. The condo sold in 4 days, at about 7% over the previous asking price.
The whole process took 7 months, from the first listing to the final sale. Gloria didn't give up. Every time we ran into a roadblock, she'd back up a few steps, recalculate, and move forward. I couldn't have done this without her help.
