I was born in Michigan, but have also lived in south Florida, New Orleans,and California. I made my final residence here in Cumberland County, TN in the mid 90's. My father was the drummer for Frankie Avalon, so I was able to travel the country and pick the best place on earth- so here I am. My background education is in Marketing and I have been involved in Real Estate in one form of another since the late 90's.
Up until 2008, I ran The Assistance Fund, which was a down payment assistance program for moderate to low income families. It provided the opportunity for home ownership to those who had good credit, but were just unable to come up with a required down payment.
Since 2000, my husband, Bill Knight and I, have owned and operated Knights Roofing here in Cumberland County, and in 2009, I also became the President of Cumberland Mountain Retreat and Water Utility until I bought my RE/MAX Franchise in 2019. I breed and raise APHA horses and on top of all that, I am the mother of 3, the oldest of which I am lucky enough to have her work here with me and my youngest is a cancer survivor that keeps me on my toes even though I am now an empty nester with more time to do what I love.... REAL ESTATE!
I was always told that busy people are successful people, and that you can always find time if it is important to you. I believe I am testament to that!
