My journey toward being one of the leading realtors in Metro Detroit wasn’t easy – but it was worth it. It all began as a 20-year-old college student, thrust into life as a single mom. Away from my family, deep into my studies, and focused on being the best parent possible, I began noticing my potential. Motherhood, and all its challenges, brought out the best in me. It lit a fire inside of me, unleashed my entrepreneurial spirit, and pushed me to seek opportunities that allowed me to grow into the type of person I wanted my daughter to look up to. From there, I looked to God to pull me toward whatever path I was supposed to be on. That happened to be real estate. Captivated by the tv show "Million Dollar Listing," I instinctively recognized real estate as the ideal profession. Its flexibility enables me to prioritize my children while thriving in a lucrative career. It also combined all of my strengths: My insatiable work ethic, my friendly nature, an innate ability to negotiate and problem-solve, my love of making a difference, and my ability to build connections with people from all different backgrounds. And from there, Gentraia Brown Metro Detroit Realtor was born.
I'm a graduate of Michigan State University, where I received my BA in Hospitality Business. I'm devoted to serving the needs and exceeding the expectations of real estate buyers, sellers and investors throughout the Metro Detroit area.
