There are a lot of realtors out there. It’s difficult to choose, so we made a list of the skills we knew we wanted from someone that we wanted to represent us in the selling process of our condo. First thing on our list was trustworthiness. We were out of the area during the sale, so we needed someone to handle everything. Trust to us meant that our communication would be excellent and honest. Throughout our selling process, he and his team made recommendations on what would bring us top dollar for our place, he walked us through things we didn’t fully understand, and kept us from making mistakes. Along with trust, we also needed someone who completely understood the market and could help us get to our goal. Gene is not one of those realtors that is doing this as a hobby or a weekend job. He and his team are very professional and can help you get through what can be a very daunting process. Lastly, we’ve been looking for another place in a different state. The seller’s realtor was an absolute nightmare. She didn’t know what she was doing and the poor sellers were stuck with her until the listing expired. Our deal fell out of escrow because of the realtor! I saw first-hand what happens if you choose the wrong realtor.
