Authentic, Consistent, Principled AND Knowledgeable RE Agent, and one heck of a nice guy!
FIVE STARS! I never met a Real Estate agent I have liked or trusted before now... and I have met a LOT of Real Estate agents. Gary Harmon I both like AND trust, implicitly. He made my recent purchase of 617 Tennyson a breeze, despite my offer being presented in competition with literally 15 others in a "best takes all" scenario. Gary listens well, and was able to walk me thru my own personal assessment of how to construct the "Best (winning) Offer", sharing his market knowledge expertise yet never overstepping .
I consider Real Estate Agents like any other expert in a professional field outside of mine... contractor, doctor, architect... I don't want the "expert" selling me what I can see, I want my expert to share history, back story, context... to tell me the story I can't see for myself, sharing options, empowering my choice. Working with Gary I was never "sold" something. If a listing we viewed was crap (my word, not his) Gary provided a brief, no BS assessment. Same if a listing we viewed was unreasonably priced for the market or quality of the offering. Gary gave honest, succinct input. If we saw properties we actually liked and were interested in, Gary offered pluses and minuses, distinct from his personal preferences.
Meeting Gary for the first time over the phone by referral from a Toledo property-purchasing friend was an unknown; Gary sounded good, he spent time analyzing the local housing market with us as it pertained to our defined goals. Once we met in person I knew we were in great hands. Gary was and has remained thoughtful, real, responsive, and very informed on the diverse Toledo market. We looked at lots of property with Gary, learning each other, always experiencing his full engagement.
So far we have purchased three properties total represented by Gary Harmon, and Gary will continue to be our go-to guy in future. Cannot imagine working with anyone else... we are Team Gary to stay!
