Fintan is a fantastic realtor! He helped my husband and I buy our first house (a two-family home), and he helped us find tenants for our second unit. As first-time home buyers, we needed a lot of help and advice, and Fintan provided guidance from everything from refining our home search to negotiating our final offer. My wife and I (she was 7 months pregnant) had our backs against the wall and needed a new apartment immediately (the place we were in was unsafe, and filled with lead paint). We found him by accident at an apartment in Lexington that another realtor was showing, but it was not the right fit for us. After we asked for his help, he immediately and aggressively helped us find the perfect place in our budget and with the type of Landlord we wanted to rent from (in Medford). We got out of the hotel we were staying in and in our new place in a few days!! If you want professional, kind, competent, top notch experience ask for Fintan Doherty. After getting us the apartment, he worked with us to help us find our first home. He helped us close on it last May, and guided us through an at times very challenging process. It's not how he performs when things are easy that makes him stand out, it is how he performed when things were challenging. HE IS THE BEST!!! If you have the option of Fintan, and choose anyone else, then you will have made the WRONG decision.

Fintan Doherty exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Fintan researched recent sales and current listings in my area. Fintan's recommendation for my sell price was well researched and ended up being quite accurate. Fintan is eager to put the time in to properly show the property. Great prep work prior to the first open house, followed by several open houses that generated a significant amount of potential buyers. Fintan is also very strong when showing the property, with strong sales skills. As a former contractor, Fintan is very valuable with his knowledge of properties. He has built them, owned them, fixed them, and that really helps when selling or buying. He knows more about homes than most realtors would ever hope to know. For me, Fintan went well above and beyond what a realtor is expected to do. Numerous trips to city hall and building inspectors to solidify certificate of occupancy and other code related matters. Fintan completed all time consuming tasks without having to be asked to do so. I will contract Fintan again in the future and would recommend him strongly and without reservation.
