Through the years I’ve often heard others say that the experience of buying a house can be the “best of times or the worst of times!” Of course this, in and of itself, can leave one dreading this process of taking a major leap of faith to fulfill what many consider a lifetime dream of owning your own home — one you’ve probably envisioned yourself living in for a number of years. What I found in my realtor, Fate Carson IV, were personal & professional qualities that far surpassed what I thought working with a real estate agent would be like. As an example, his professionalism and communication skills were top-notch and allowed me to feel comfortable asking even the most basic questions that could have, otherwise, left me feeling inept & possibly inadequate. The reverse also held true where I might have displayed an occasional air of omnipotence pertaining to certain subjects. Once again, he would patiently listen to my comments in an attempt to get to understand me better as his client. What I discovered in the process was his extensive knowledge base in the field of real estate, while at the same time acknowledging his relatively (& comparatively) short time in this line of work. Yet, his drive, his desire to excel in this field while always learning, & his overall genuinely friendly & upbeat personality (wherein he keeps his clients needs & desires first) shine through loud & clear making one beckon to call on him as their desired & committed realtor! I have recently completed my home search, having closed on my beautiful home only a few days ago. This was our second time working with Fate on a real estate transaction. As expected, and just like before, Fate was very communicative and professional throughout the entire listing and selling of our home. We really appreciated the attention to detail and all of the smaller things that he had taken care of for us (Turning the porch lights on/off, removing the snow and salting the porch). I worked with Fate for 7 months finding the dream house for me and my fiancée. It was a tedious, disappointing, and downright heartbreaking process especially having to deal with one rejection after another. However, Fate was always there every step of the way. Fate worked for me. He listened to what all I was wanting and took charge to find exactly what I wanted. If I had questions he had answers, if he didn't have the answer he found out the correct answer in a fast amount of time for me to make decisions. He was extremely flexible with his schedule to accommodate me. I will use him again in the near future.

I would recommend Fate to anybody looking for a home. This was my first home purchase and he made the entire process easy. He was always there to answer questions. He always explained everything clearly. Fate was always extremely prompt and on time. He was never late. He was professional. He made great suggestions and explained why he made them. Example- I asked him to find out if the previous owner could leave the internet modem so I could transfer the service to my name. He explained that it probably wasn’t a good idea because Neither of us knew how, or what, the previous owner was doing online. And while he was very doubtful anything morally wrong or illegal was done, he suggested that I just let the previous owner return the router and that I get my own. I NEVER would have thought of that. Really makes me feel like Fate had my back. And he really did. I sincerely appreciate his help with my first home buying experience.
