In December 2018 we found out that we were moving to Birmingham, AL from Syracuse, NY due to my wife’s job transfer. There was no moving time frame as a consideration. As we had never been to Birmingham, we really didn’t know what to expect. After spending many hours combing the real estate options on the internet we were totally confused. Faith Harper was referred to us by our real estate broker and contact was made. Our first impression was a good one. She was friendly and we immediately felt confident that she would be there to help us find the right home, and within our budget. So, we scheduled a trip to Birmingham for March 2019 to meet with her to discuss our needs. We met at the hotel and told her of our needs and our concerns, especially the commute to work. We wanted to live in the suburbs with no interstate highway driving for her commute to work. Also, I told her of my desire to secure a VA mortgage. Faith immediately went to work. She asked very important questions. What type of home were we looking to buy. Any special needs or requirements. Time considerations for the commute. After discussing the issue that were important to us, she took on a tour of areas she thought we might be interested in. The next few days she devoted much time to showing us many homes, in different locations around Birmingham. After a few days, she really understood what we were looking for and agreed to meet again and we agreed to meet again in a few weeks to continue our search. We met again in June 2019 and she was well prepared to show us properties that she felt had all our desires covered. Again, we resumed our search. Faith was very patient with us as we look at each one carefully. She explained the “pros & cons” of each property we considered.
