Having moved with her family to the United States at the tender age of nine, Evelyn spent her adolescence getting to know the lively Koreatown area and, eventually, the Greater Los Angeles area as a whole. For the last 15 years, she’s called San Gabriel her home and regularly illustrates her commanding knowledge of the LA region’s diverse housing markets. After studying business administration in college, Evelyn landed a demanding job at UCLA Medical Center in which she’d utilize her refined negotiation skills to represent them in court amongst a myriad of other responsibilities. But her passion for serving her community eventually turned her attention toward real estate. In 2007, she obtained her license and thus began her long-lasting love affair with realty.
Even in the face of the 2008 recession and subsequent housing market crash, Evelyn ceaselessly worked her magic, making homeownership dreams come true while juggling her responsibilities at UCLA. She clearly recalls this tumultuous time being marked by a proliferation of short sales. Eventually, she had to step away from her real estate work to give her role at UCLA the attention it required. But Evelyn’s life was changing on all fronts. In 2015, she finally stepped away from her position at UCLA after getting married and deciding to start a family with her husband. The next year, the couple proudly welcomed their first son, and Evelyn spent the next two years devoting herself to the growth of their family.
But there was another voice persistently calling her away from her work at UCLA. She’d never forgotten the thrills of real estate; the joys of helping families realize their dreams, the smiles on their faces when the keys to the future first touched their palms, and the feeling of accomplishment of guiding an investor to their next vista of generational wealth. So, in 2018, Evelyn returned to real estate full time and has never looked back. She adores the opportunity to help clients meticulously plan out a winning strategy for buying or selling, regularly tapping into her specialized training from some of the brightest minds at the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). Evelyn is a true family woman, so she cherishes every minute spent with her husband and boys.
