I started working with Erika this past spring, when I began to look into my options of a listing agent for my home. I wasn't planning to list until late summer, but wanted to get input on any planned updates to prepare my house for sale. From the beginning, Erika provided valuable advice on things to do to prepare my house. She was very knowledgeable about the housing market and communicated clearly about the process and the services she would help with. I actually listed my home right after moving out of town, and Erika was incredibly helpful with the home despite me being a few hours away - she helped organize lawn mowing, moving trash cans back, checking on a few things at the house, and even helping deal with a couple of minor issues to help make the house more presentable for an open house. Once we were under contract, Erika communicated clearly and consistently about the closing process, helped me understand my options with offers, and assisted in arranging signing that helped me avoid courier fees, while working with my schedule and being out of town. By comparison, I purchased a new home this summer and found my realtor to be significantly less engaged and informative about the market and the area I moved to, and less clear in talking through the ins and outs of the home buying process. Between the great standalone experience I had with Erika, and by comparison to my other recent experience, I would highly recommend working with Erika to anyone else!
