Originally from the Los Angeles area, I spent over 20 years working behind the scenes in the television industry as an editor. My family and I began our Big Bear journey by camping at Heart Bar, just outside of town. After years of weekend getaways and vacations in the mountains, we finally took the leap and bought a second home here. But after just a few visits and too many dreaded drives back down the hill we asked ourselves, “Why not just live here full-time?” And so, we did.
Since making Big Bear our permanent home, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for this community’s natural beauty, its distinct neighborhoods, and the lifestyle that draws so many people here.
