Erik Bashford

You will not find a better agent than Erik! He is very knowledgeable about Wilmington and its different neighborhoods. He's great to bounce ideas off of. He has access to good ancillary resources. He will go waaay ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure you are not cheated and are satisfied at the end of your transaction. He is a man great integrity.

Erik was able to handle all aspects of the sale of my rental property. This included the settlement, which I didn't even have to attend. It was by far the simplest, quickest, and cleanest transaction I have had. His knowledge of the area and access to many potential buyers was key in this transaction and for future deals.

Erik knows Wilmington well, he knows the buy/sell processes, and he knows lots of other pros in the biz, which are often required along the way. We live in PA, so had to find an agent in DE to sell this home, and Erik has been a great fit. He helped us purchase another DE property in the meantime as well.

My husband and I needed to sell our house in the city it was getting bad between crime and medical issues I had we needed to stop mortgage payments and just deal with our issues. I called not 1 but 8 realtors they’d cut me off and not listen or say I’d never get asking or even close to what’s owed and would actually owe when closing. Erik listened he heard what I said and actually knew the area and what we needed he didn’t just get asking oh no he got over asking and we walked away with I believe over $15k! Seriously I never thought that would happen but than again he LISTENED! He knew what the area went for he knew we modified things and what we owed. We sat and just added more money to our account we paid some bills and credit cards he would check in every so often he never rushed us. We finally felt ready and told Erik we are ready to look and we set up just a few starters and fell in love with one. Sadly we lost out due to an idiot issue of whom we will not speak of (not Erik he’s awesome) but it’s whatever I feel today it wouldn’t of been as good as what we have now. We seriously saw about 30+ houses in over 2 month span but he didn’t give up finally we gave him the ropes I told Erik one day we’re gonna go in blind he asked what do you mean? Here’s the rules you pick the houses we tell you our price cap our areas and bedroom minimum and bath minimum you just pull the houses. He did it he found 5 in a day and some were good potentials but the 2nd to last we knew was it! The area was selling for well over $200k but this house was at $193 firm “bank sell”. It was a fight he knew it would be stressful he held our hand he helped birth us into our home by sticking it out and just biting heads and taking no ones crap! Erik was amazing he went above and beyond for us and he doesn’t realize what he’s done we have escrow in this house by just purchasing it we remodeled the kitchen new heater/ac were well over $200k Thanks Erik!!!!
